I just have to say that Jamie Foxx was the BEST celebrity mentor that those contestants could have had this season. He had awesome advice and it was obvious that he was honest with them. Loved, loved, loved most of the songs and most of the contestants tonight.

Top performances- I'm going to put Danny Gokey on here first, not because I think he was better than Adam Lambert, but because he finally was good enough to make me smile and say WOW!
Simon was wrong- with Kris Allen and Matt Giraud. Kris was good, Matt was not. Most pitchy performance, again- Matt Giraud. Most boring- Allison Iraheta. Who should go home?- Allison Iraheta. Best looking in a white suit- Adam Lambert. Best entrance- Adam Lambert. Best falsetto- Adam Lambert. My prediction for final 3- Danny Gokey, Kris Allen, Adam Lambert.

That would be my final 3 also. I liked all three of them tonight. And Danny Gokey's was the first Wow for me from him too. I love Adam Lambert more and more every time I see him. I'm so glad that other people like him too; at first I assumed he wouldn't last long because I thought people wouldn't be able to handle his goodness. I was blissfully wrong about my fellow Americans. And I just really like Kris Allen's voice too. Yes, those would be my final 3 also.

Based on singing performance alone, I really think Matt should go home. I thought he sounded awful compared with the rest of them tonight. I'm indifferent to Allison.

Yeah, I have been disappointed with Matt lately because I thought he was really good in past weeks.

Mom says that Adam is the best overall. However, she thinks that she could listen to entire album by Danny.

Actually, what I said was I think I would rather listen to an album by Danny. (and for those of you who don't know, I'm not a fan of AI. I rather dislike the whole concept, and the homogenization of American music. There was one particular comment a judge made in one of the rare segments I saw to the effect of "I just don't think you are what America wants to hear". I dislike that someone thinks they are so wonderful that know what "America" wants to hear.) Adam has a remarkable talent, but would be a little much for me to listen to for any length of time. He can thank the good Lord that I am not the target audience. And I didn't agree about Matt. I liked his performance. But I'm not going to go back and relisten to see if I just missed something the first time around. "The girls" (which now means Lindey and Kimmi) and I have been watching the performances on the website. A lot less time than watching the show!! Oh, and Kris is my least favorite. Can't put a finger on why. BTW Val, we watched an EW&F DVD (digital download from CML). If you want to listen to some outstanding falsetto.........

It took me a while to figure out what EW&F was :) I'm pretty sure it means Earth, Wind, and Fire, right? But what is CML?
